Adobe CS4 Launch in KL

Adobe Creative Suite 4 was launched on 11 November 2008 at Shangri-La Hotel, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. Thanks to Bat from Infomalaya for the information. I’ve went with my friend, Aslam (picture) to check the introduction event.

What’s cool about CS4?
One of the speaker, Tim Cole said that CS also mean Cool Stuff. That’s why people come to this event to see the cool stuff. There’s just too many great improvement from the last CS3 two years back.

Basically Creative Suite is a package of few softwares. If you are getting more into design, using one software will not work for you. The most frequent Adobe softwares that I use are Photoshop, Illustrator, Reader and Flash.

What are the new features?
There are too many new features. But what I like the most will be the tab feature. Usually I used to work on a few files at the same time. Just like when you are using tabbed browser when surfing internet. Work can be done faster. Click here for more new features from Adobe website.

CS4 tumbler
There was a cool design tumbler in the goodie bag. Without the label Adobe Creative Suite 4, the tumbler won’t look this good. Tumbler is very important because we can refill it over and over again. Unlike using mineral bottles. I’ve known about this but thanks to Najlaa for writing about it. Do you know that the new batmobile was also known as The Tumbler?

New software needs new machine
HP and Nvidia was the platinum sponsor of the event. They take this opportunity to promote their new hardwares in market. New software will absolutely consume higher memory and better performance. So, I’m not going to rush to try this software. I need to make sure my machine can adapt to these new software soon. I’m considering to get a new laptop by the end of this year.
