Attention Please J-Drama Review

Its been awhile since I’ve blog about Japanese Drama. This drama was aired on 8tv from April until June. The story is all about a girl who is trying to become a cabin attendant in Japan Airlines (JAL). I love to watch the passion and dynamism of the main character as well as other roles.
The main character is Misaki which is played by Aya Ueto. She’s a typical Japanese cute happy go lucky girl. I don’t watch this drama because of cute girls only, the reason I’ve got stuck into this drama because I want to know what a trainee of a cabin attendant face during their training. If the drama is true, then there is no male cabin attendant in JAL. Only female are allowed for that position. Unlike in Malaysia Airlines (MAS).
Besides that, this is one of the drama that features the job and responsibility of three profession in the airlines industry. They are the cabin attendant, pilot and also engineer. Good Luck drama which featuring Takuya Kimura as the lead, only have the pilot and engineer love affair. But this drama has a good storyline as well as inspiring message to the audience.
Sometimes I don’t have the time to watch it at 8TV on every Sunday. My friend suggested to watch at Mysoju.com. They have archive of links Asian Drama which is available online. From the list, I can see that J-Drama drama style. They usually have 11 episodes and sometimes they will have a new season for the drama. If they are not going to have a new season, then there will be a special ‘extended’ episode popularly known as SP.
I’ve watched the SP of the ‘Proposal Daisakusen’ and also the ‘Attention Please Honolulu Special’. In the end, the drama left the audience a big question mark regarding Misaki’s love story with Shouta. Other J-Drama also love to have that approach as in the ‘Engine’ drama played by Takuya Kimura. I don’t know the result of their relationship because the drama stops there.
Now back to the Attention Please drama. Another important issue here of why I like to watch this drama is that.. why Malaysia don’t have these kind of drama? I pretty hate it when the drama always resolves around corporate world, jealousy and envy, business here and there. Japan drama has a wide variety of characters and that makes their drama colourful.
I guess Hans Isaac has a good approach in introducing the cleaner or janitor job in his first movie, Cuci. In the end, they end up cleaning the AirAsia Boeing. But its not a successful movie despite huge publicity.

Saya tidak mengikuti cerita ini. Mungkin juga anda boleh menonton cerita yang mempunyai tema yang sama yang saya rasa sangat menarik.
Tajuk drama Jepun tersebut ialah “GOOD LUCK” yang mengisahkan tentang cita-cita seorang lelaki yang ingin menjadi juruterbang. Adakah cita-citanya kesampaian setelah dia oatah kaki akibat kemalangan? Pelakonnya Takuya Kimura dan Kou Shibasaki.
Apapun, jadikan apa yang kita lihat dan tonton baik di televisyen atau sekeliling kita sebagai sesuatu yang memberi manfaat.

Japanese are very creative and very advanced in many ways. Generally, I also get disappointed with Malaysian products in the entertainment world. I wish I have a chance to produce a good film in the future. huhu…

Then you are wrong, JAL do have male cabin crews, its just that this industry is dominated by female and for rating purposes, a whole female cabin crew cast will be more appealing to the audiences.
Oscar: Are you sure? I’ve flown several times on JAL and have never once seen a male cabin crew member.
If they do have them then they should of course be included in the show as well.
