Ezora Drama Series on TV3
34 TweetEzora is the latest drama series in Akasia slot after Manjalara and Bella. I was on my semester break. So I spend my time to watch Malay dramas on TV with my family. But What makes Ezora different than the rest?
Ezora’s strength lies on the confusing family relationship as in the Latin telenovela. I don’t like watching these dramas because I don’t want to understand complicated things. I am a simple person and I want it straight forward. So, when I watched the 44th episode last week, I managed to come up with the correlation chart. Usually Japanese dramas will have correlation chart in their website. All the dialogues among the characters is hard for me to absorb. Since I’m good in reading visual than literal, I believe this is one of the easy way to understand the relationship among characters.
The black line indicates a family relationship between husband, wife, son and daughter. The red line indicates that the characters is having an affair or they have divorced. While the yellow line shows a relative relationship which I still couldn’t figure it out myself. As the story progress, more character was introduced and the relationship becomes complicated. I wish I can relate Mak Cik Kiah character who lives with Farah.
Fazura as Ezora, both name sounds similar. I cannot accept that Fazura is taking a kampung girl character after watching her style in Gol & Gincu. But I know, she wanted to explore various type of characters to enhance her skill. In G&G, she studies fashion design and in Ezora, she worked as a tailor too.
Its good that TV3 has this series online. I still can watch the show eventhough I’ve missed the show. Check out TV3 website under Catch Up TV menu. You still can watch earlier episodes there.
If you still remember, Beego (Reza) was having a marriage crisis in the early of this series. I think it has the same plot where he married to a girl from a rich family. Except that he hasn’t divorced Leeya yet.
I also enjoyed watching my childhood friend, Khalid Nadzri as Joshua. Obviously he looks like his brother, Ahmad Idham.
Ezora has 60 episodes. According to my calculation, it will end on 28th August.

wut i can conclude based on wut i have watched so far:
1) i noticed that the big mic used during the penggambaran can be seen for about 5 times or maybe more in the drama. weren’t they supposed to do editing? and they should have noticed that.
2) being gadis kampung isn’t convincing enough coz earlier episodes showed that fazura wore ‘very nice’ t-shirt and immediately she can adapt with the KL life. woa! hebat tuh.
3) why must Reza married Leeya if he cannot live w/tht Ezora? why must he married Ezora in the first place when he knew that he NEED money in which he have to marry Leeya?
to sum up, this story should have been better organized and the story got even more complicated than eva eventhough its coming towards the end because i do not know whom can be trusted among all the characters. that reflects our life that the only person you can trust is yourself.

I’m hooked on this drama series & I can’t seem to be able to watch the episodes in sequence on youtube as some of them seem to be missing. Could you suggest any other sites where I can watch it?
