USM Convex 2008

USM was having their convocation from 14th to 17th August 2008 at their main campus in Pulau Pinang. This is my second time going to USM for convocation. The last time was during my mum’s degree eight years ago. So let’s see what’s cool about USM Convocation Expo or Convex.
I went to USM Convex because I think I don’t have the chance to go for IIUM Convest this year. As far as I concern, none of my known schoolmates is studying in USM. By the way, I’m taking this opportunity to wish congratulations for MohdIsmail who had just graduated from USM.
Cool and shaded
They have many interesting events. However, I only managed to watch the exhibition. They also have go-cart event on Sunday. I was amazed by the giant canopy for the stage performance.
Besides that, some of the attractive activities are the inflatables for kids. They even have pony ride activities which has become their trademark for years. I rode a pony in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa during my schooldays once.
USM also are very serious regarding the green environment. Still remember about the eco-pack? All foods and beverages at the expo are required to use paper based packaging material. I think IIUM can learn something from their campaign. Read The Star Online for more.

lol..USM is like so near with Wahida’s house! I can still remember when we drove around and that’s the first time I came to USM..

salam adlan, erm… crita psl USM, baru sekali fiza masuk USM. Pi rumah cousin kt dlm USM tu… bila masuk ctu rindu kt UTM… UTM pon hijo gak… Dah dekat 2 tahun lebih rupanya fiza tinggalkan zaman2 kampus ni. Kalau nk merasa lagi konvo kenala sambung Master ka apa ka… Owh, sangat tidak rajin. Huhuhu… Tunggu adik2 la, takpon anak2 la kot… InsyaAllah…

kali ni da xwat drift da. dorg wat event ape eh.. ha jualan2 makanan dan barangan seperti di kebanyakan expo2 dan pasar malam.
hrp maaf. sy tiada di UIA wat masa skrg ni. mgkin pembaca yg lain bleh kongsi ape acara di UIA nnt.

bro, sori la. saya takde kaitan. sekadar pelawat convex tahun lepas je. try pegi kat ofis aktiviti pelajar, mungkin mereka tahu.
kat atas bsn dewan budaya..tiap2 thn pun bilik gerakannya sama
