Goodbye Sunway, Hello Hartamas!

Salam. Its almost 11 months I’ve been working at Dataran Mentari, Bandar Sunway. My last day was 4th June 2010 in Sunway and now I’m working at Plaza Damas starting 7th June 2010.

If you have missed the entry about my former job, you can read My first job as Multimedia Designer. I don’t want to write so I’ll just share few photos on my last day at Dataran Mentari and my new office in Plaza Damas.

Goodbye Sunway!

This is where I’ve been working for the past 11 months. The office’s signage is located near the staircase.

Behind the office block, there was a tree and its bending. Either its ‘lailatul qadr’ incidence or the tree is trying to get the sunlight.

This is Mentari Court condominium. There are many foreigners from Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and African people lives here.

This is Bali building according to the locals. Now, it is called Leisure Commerce Centre (LSC). There is a headquarter of Kurnia Insurans and Taylor College Sunway Campus.

This is where I normally take my train. Most commuters here works in LSC, Dataran Mentari, Sunway Mentari and even Sunway Pyramid.

I took this picture while riding Komuter Limited Stops train. According to the route diagram, it won’t stop at Angkasapuri but it really does! After I’ve given some thought about it, Komuter will stop here to give ways to other trains in KL Sentral station. Otherwise, it will stop and wait near Bangsar.

Komuter has introduced ‘Ladies Coach‘ on 28 April 2010. Since then, I must enter the ‘Gentlemen Coach’ for men. Yet there are still some women who are too lazy to walk to the center coach.

And that was my last journey with KTM Komuter on 4th June 2010. Komuter service is quite poor and I hope Komuter can improve their service soon. I took two days leave before start working in a new place.

Hello Hartamas!

This is Plaza Damas. It is a commercial and office block in Sri Hartamas. Hartamas Shopping Centre is located in next to Plaza Damas. From there, I can see the progress of the new Istana Negara construction.
