While waiting for train at LRT Setiawangsa, I’ve spotted an advertisement on the platform. It says that ‘Dukacita dimaklumkan “Lizardman” tidak akan muncul atas sebab-sebab tidak dapat dielakkan”. I was like, is this advertisement refer to Cicakman movie?
I tried to check the website of the mightylizardman.com. First of all, the website is awesome. It looks lika a parody to the Cicakman website. But, its not a movie anyway. It is a creative marketing strategy for Ridsect Lizard Repellent. Check out the third trailer in the website.
They even buy a domain and created few trailers, which really looks like a Cicakman, just for the unique promotion. Good job Ridsect. If they have advertise it on TV, then its gonna be a boom!
Cicakman2 – Planet Hitam will be released on 11th December 2008 in Malaysia. I hope this time it will be a better movie. New outfit, new nemesis, improved storyline, better CGI. Let’s wait and see.
