Special thanks to Omar and Friz that join the fun with me that day. I went to Yusuf Estes talk the night before and I’m worried if I’ll overslept.
There was a huge crowd waiting at the starting point near Jerejak Resort and Spa. Its good that the organizer has installed two canopies as Surau but there’s no water tap nearby for me to take wudhu. But I manage to perform my Subuh prayer before we started to run at 6.47am.
I’ve only practice about 5 kilometers, jogging in my neighborhood. I tried to keep on running but I’m getting tired as I’m approaching the bridge. I should have practiced for 10 kilometers next time.
Since I’m joining for fun and there’s no need to rush, it took me about 1 hour 36 minutes for 10 kilometers of running, jogging and walking. Such a remarkable personal record isn’t it?
I’m thinking of joining other running event soon. Running is fun!
