This is my first time, celebrating Ramadhan Ibadah Festival 1429 far from my hometown. Doing practical in Penang in the same time, celebrating Ramadhan and InsyaAllah Eid Mubarak with new friends in Penang, will be such a remarkable memory for me. Please note that I’ve always been in Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley since my school days until in UIA.
Its quite different yet I really hope that I can fully utilize this Ramadhan to its fullest. I was such an idiot who simply took Ramadhan for granted. When I recap on my last Ramadhan post in previous year, I feel like stupid. I’m busying myself with studio projects and neglected Tarawikh prayers. (Check related post in the end of this article)
Raya greeting cards
That’s just a brief introduction to recap my first 20 days of Ramadhan. As usual, I have practice to send Raya card to people that are close to me. I’m anticipating to return to KL and check my mailbox. I don’t want to receive those card at Penang. I hope that once I returned home, I’ll spend some time reading thoughtful Raya cards from my friend. (Thanks to Huda for the first raya card)
Bus ticket price was increased
I really disappointed when the bus ticket was increased about RM8. Usually Penang to KL will cost about RM26.90. Since the government don’t want to provide them with subsidy, then the customer will have to pay for that. I’m thinking of using KTM train which cost cheaper than buses.
Lastly, I would like to remind to all my readers, despite Raya celebration is just around the corner, we should not forget about the last ten days of Ramadhan in the search of Lailatul Qadar.
Extra: Hadith authenticity
Surprisingly, there was an argument about the authenticity of hadith which mention about the section of Ramadhan, which was for Bless, Forgiveness and free from Hell. You may want to read it further at http://www.zaharuddin.net
