Salam.

Memperkenalkan projek aplikasi web kahwin pertamaku, BajetKahwin, sebuah kalkulator untuk mendapatkan anggaran perbelanjaan kahwin anda dengan mudah.

Idea Asal

Idea asal aku bangunkan aplikasi web ni setelah aku dapati agak ramai orang yang berminat dengan infografik perkahwinan orang Melayu di Malaysia.

Selepas tu aku terfikir, bagaimana kalau aku buat infografik bajet kerja kahwin?

Terima kasih!

Our Wedding Photo goes viral after almost 1 year wedding

For the past few months, most of my traffic comes from Facebook, because of this Facebook status placard photo.

Have you tried BajetKahwin app? The easiest way to estimate how much your wedding will cost.

It has been spreading worldwide, becoming popular among Malaysians, and even the Gulf countries, since we are Muslims.

Privacy concern?

I have been getting lots of Friend Requests on Facebook and so has my wife. This is really bugging me. I’m sorry I don’t accept most of the friend requests. I keep Facebook to people I know. You may follow me on Twitter or my official Facebook Page.

Being evergreen?

I’m not sure how long this will be going viral on the net. But what I know is that it will be evergreen because people will always think we were just married last Friday, as stated on the placard, Friday at 9.41pm.

Some couples also used the relationship status card on their wedding day but inserted their wedding date as well, making it look outdated if it is circulated like our photo. Well, I think I made a good move since I just put the day without our actual wedding date.

People using our picture for tazkirah – about relationship on FB

This is a good thing. I know many people like to announce their relationship on FB without realizing they are telling the whole world they are doing vices.

I don’t mind people using our picture as long as it brings good connotation, to remind others, to make aware of only ‘announcing your relationship once its legal and lawful’.

Vivid Sydney – Spectacular and Creative Lights Performance

This is the last destination of our first Sydney trip. We came back to Circular Quay to watch the Vivid Sydney show. It is when Circular Quay comes to live and is happening at night.

What is Vivid Sydney?

The Vivid Sydney is a festival of light, music and ideas and it colours the city with breathtaking immersive light projection on iconic Sydney Opera House sails, Customs House, and free outdoor exhibition of interactive light sculptures.

The light projections start at 6pm to 12pm. We arrived there at about 7pm and could see many people hanging out with their friends and family. It was the last night of the event and I’m glad we finally made it here to witness it with our own eyes. Thanks to the Queen’s Birthday public holiday.

Opera House sails

These are snapshots of the light projection on Sydney Opera House sails. It’s not easy to take a picture at night using a compact camera.

This is the time lapse video of the light performance.

Customs House facade

Here are snapshots of the light projection on the Customs House facade. I’ve watched it on Youtube last year. This time, I’m watching it live!

This is the full length video of the light show.

Other illuminating arts installation and sculptures

These photos were taken from Vivid Sydney Mashup website.

We should have seen all of the light installations on site. But I didn’t want to arrive home after midnight. That’s why we left quite early at about 8.30pm from Circular Quay. The bus departed at 9pm and we arrived in Newcastle at 11.40pm after one of our memorable outing this year.

The lesson from this trip is we should invest in a tripod. If you notice from our photos that we don’t have any pictures together as a couple.

If you are coming to Sydney next year, you can visit Vivid Sydney official website for details if you want to catch the lights.

Ikhwan Nazri-Hazwani: The Wedding of the Man behind WeddingKami

Salam. I went to my twitter friend wedding reception in Ampang last saturday. What makes this special is that it is the wedding of Ikhwan Nazri, a.k.a Tekong the guy behind Weddingkami and Officekami.

This is the special blog post for him. He’s married to Hazwani or @n3thead. According to him, they met through Yahoo! 360 website. If he doesn’t check his 360 at that time, he might never met with her.

Its WeddingKami! Website

First of all, its the invitation. He also created his own Weddingkami website with the creative URL of its.weddingkami.com. Cool eh?!

Wedding Reception at Ampang

I also had the chance to meet with some bloggers/twitterers including ShamHardy, NoktahHitam, MrKay (Orange4K), AisyahKama, IzzudinHelmi, Amanfirdaus and many more. I hope I’ll meet them again in any event in the future.

For more photographic report, visit The Reception of Bloggers Syam Aeropama and Ikhwan Tekong and Di Hari #TekongKawin yang lepas. Most of them carry DSLR and I’m a bit outdated with this point-and-shoot camera.

Inspira-Wedding Photoshoot

Among the coolest thing that makes me adore this guy is that, he is the first couple who gets the chance to get up close and personal with Proton Inspira.

Well, I’m praying that this couple will be showered with blessings from Allah and may their marriage last forever, InshaAllah.
