At that time, I feel something unique about the design. I was there when the designers were choosing the fabric for the interior. One of the designer told me that the Viva will be launched after I&#8217;ve graduated. I almost forgot about the new Viva and the launching of Viva Elite truly surprise me. Anyway, I&#8217;d like to congratulate to all Perodua styling designers because they manage to transform Viva into a stylish compact car. <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comparison\"><\/span>Comparison<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Eventhough it just a cosmetic changes, it looks really nice from front. But from rear, there&#8217;s nothing much different. Here&#8217;s the comparison of Viva 2007 and the Elite 2009 version as taken from its pamphlet. By comparing the earlier Viva in 2007 and the new facelift design, there&#8217;s few differences especially on the hood and grill design.<br \/>\n<img src='http:\/\/adlankhalidi.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/blog-pix-09-02\/comparison-viva-elite.jpg' alt='comparison-viva-elite' class='ngg-singlepic ngg-center' \/><br \/>\nIf you are wondering where Viva got the hood design, you can see it in the automotive design trend. These cars has similar hood design and I believe the designers have studied and predicted these hood design trend.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img src='http:\/\/adlankhalidi.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/blog-pix-09-02\/nissan-latio-livina-honda-jazz.jpg' alt='nissan-latio-livina-honda-jazz' class='ngg-singlepic ngg-center' \/><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Price_on_the_road\"><\/span>Price on the road<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Viva Elite Ezi cost about RM44,900. If you have smaller budget, you can get Viva 660 BX which cost from RM24,900. However, I wonder why Perodua don&#8217;t promote Viva Elite aggresively unlike <a href=\"http:\/\/adlankhalidi.com\/2008\/10\/myvi-se-2008-facelift\/\">MyVi SE last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"g468\">\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"pub-8798923874493742\";\n\/* 468x60, created 1\/9\/09 *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"1133818834\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 468;\ngoogle_ad_height = 60;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Perodua_MPV_D46T\"><\/span>Perodua MPV D46T<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>I have seen Perodua D46T design during its design development stage last year. Most of the <a href=\"http:\/\/paultan.org\/topics\/cars\/new-perodua-mpv-2009\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports in Paultan<\/a> is consistent with what I&#8217;ve seen.
